Headed out to Pungo in the gail force winds and thought I would tuck away some place quiet.......hit the water at 1 pm and fished back bay for 4 hours and came in just as the sun was setting......not a bad day on the water to my great suprise. Caught & released 8 small crappie and 1 little bullhead cat.
Water was 6 to 8 feet and they were on the bottom, water temp was 56.4 *


Home on time for Jeopardy !

hehe. Jeopardy is pretty cool. The only thing that bugs me is when Alex Trebek tells someone they're incorrect and he acts like he knew the answer all aong (before they handed him all the answer cards).:

"Ohhh, noooo...I'm sorry, but the answer is "What is the purple-headed trouser snake?"" ... If there's anything he knows about, it's probably that particular subject!

Really though...I like the show hehe

Once I got back into my old stomping grounds it was flat calm and I could hear the wind howling threw the trees but as you can see by the water it hardly had a ripple on it.......even the buzzards didnt go anywhere !! All the fish were small but its better than staying home or worse yet having to go to work !!

That's cool, RACN. I'm glad somebody is able to take advantage of the weather this time of year. It looks like fun.

The weather's been unbelievable! I would like to take advantage of it more...but I'm one of those poor slobs who has to work :-/

Same here, AIG. I'm working 7 days a week right now, at least until basketball season is over. Keep the reports and pictures coming, RACN, it's keeps me going.
