Us muskie fisherman have all had that follow from the muskie of our dream only to have her turn away when we start that imfamous figure 8. So what do you do to make them eat?

Maybe a little candle light and some soft music then a glass of fine wine to whet their appetite?

ok lol so seriously though...I think if the fish is tailing your lure, it's a matter of presentation at that point. He's interested..maybe just give it a little twitch to set off the striking instinct. If that doesn't work, then maybe your presentation is a little off or you need to change to a different color lure.
