Snook fishing help

Hi im going to anna maria and im going to be fishing from the beach. Ive fished here before and i know their are tons of snook running the beaches but i cant seem to catch them. If anyone could give me some advice on how i could catch some snook live bait or artificial that would be great. Thank you in advance.
