Muskegon Fishing Report , Newaygo Fishing Report

Fishing off Muskegon pier heads is still going strong. The south peir fishing has best. Spawn with floaters has been working best for Steelhead. Smelt has been working well but its been working better for lake browns. Muskegon river Steelhead fishing is going strong. Spawn under floats continues to take most of the fish. With all of the rain we are having mos tof the river is flooded. The upper stretch from Newaygo to Croton gets less run off so it's not as muddy or as high. Your best bet is the last mile of river before Croton dam. The fish will continue to push up stream with the higher water levels.
