South Florida Bass Fishing

Postby peacock08 on Thu Dec 11, 2008 4:05 pm

It's been a great last few weeks fishing for largemouth bass and peacock bass in South Florida. On Tuesday my partner and I fished the Everglades west of Ft. Lauderdale and landed somewhere in the neighborhood of 70 bass in 4 hours. We never boated anything big for Florida standards but one decent four pound fish that's pictured here. But the weather has been in the high 70's in the daytime and mid 50's to low 60's overnight and we're catching 70 bass in 4 hours while Houston and New Orleans is getting snow? Oh well I shouldn't rub it in I guess! The numbers of bigger bass will come soon enough, click below for more information on fishing South Florida in the winter.Image
