Peacock Bass Fishing In South Florida

Postby peacock08 on Wed Mar 26, 2008 7:18 pm

Have you ever fished South Florida for Peacock Bass. How about the Amazon for giant Peacocks. It's starting to get hot down here which means incredible fishing for these Butterfly Peacock Bass. Miami and Ft. Lauderdale lakes and canals are loaded with these beautiful fighting fish. Peacock bass fight similar to smallmouth bass and hit the same type baits. When the sun comes up and heats the shallows these fish rise from deep and spend the rest of the days in about 1 to 2 feet of water! When they are shallow they tend to cop an attitude about any lures that comes near them. It's sight fishing without waiting more than two to three casts and then the battle is on. If you are ever interested in booking a trip to South Florida for bass or peacock bass click on the links below to visit our websites. :friends:
