Hello everyone,
I'm new here to this forum, and somewhat to forums in general. My purpose here is generally self-seeking to be honest, but perhaps my experience can be of benefit to another. I've been fishing since a child of 7-8 years of age and I've been in love w/ it from the get go. I'm recently involved in fly tying (2+years) and especially in the concept and action of nymph fishing. I've read, studied, spoken w/ and sought all the info I can concerning this, and hopefully w/ find some info here also.
I reside in Glasgow Virginia, about five minutes walk from where the Maury River spills beautifully into the James River. Smallmouth are the order of the day around here, and that is just great w/ me. I'm hooked on fishing for them as #1, but enjoy ALL fishing of any kind. I'm also blessed in that I live 30-45 minutes from some of the best trout streams around, and enjoy them throughly. W/ fuel prices climbing each day, I am the more grateful to be where I am each and every day. I look forward to reading whatever is availabe here, because I have learned that everyone, no matter their status or financial state, can be of use to us all and I learn from everyone. So if you have something to share, I urge you to keep sharing w/ the rest of us for no one is better than the other, simply more experienced at times. Take care all. da' Bear
