Nothing better than Google Search Console & Google Analytics.
And moreover they are absolutely free to use. Gives you tons of info and actionable metrics.
If you are asking for a hit counter to display on your public facing site. Then, why would you want to do that? Primitive sites did that. It doesn’t tell much about how popular your site is anyway.
