I like to be the first one to post. I just received a 11'0 Tica rod and a Tica Dolphin reel and new tall sand spike. So i am going to give it a try and catch my last striper of '07 from the beach. If I should succeed I will return with pictures and post. Wish me luck.

So what happened with this? Got pictures of a striper or did you come up short?

You know I didn't catch any of the beach but went out on a boat and caught these two cows.


I'll tell I have had no good luck off the beach. Lots of blue fish and 2 small stripers. But nothing worth writing about that is for sure.

Those are a couple of nice stripers you've got there. I hate to hear your lack of luck from the beach. Maybe Jamie can give some pointers. I think he does pretty well from the beach. i don't know about stripers, but I know he catches a lot of other fish... Jamie...do you catch stripers from the beach?
