Irish Meet?
Would there be enough interest if I was to hold an Irish meet on the rivers Tar, Nire & Suir all my private beats. It could be for Trout or salmon and if interested we could do an evening Bass and Pollock Fishing. How does this sound?

If the course of a river splits in two creating a large, flat island (of gravel, say) where can you fish from? Let's say that the river splits in two equally.

Snowbee Granite Neoprene Waders
Anybody have a pair of the above or know what they are like ?
I am thinking of getting a pair.
The other question is what type of sole might be best, cleated/studded or felt. I will not be fishing rivers, mainly sea and the occasional hill loch in Scotland when on my hols.
Many thanks.

Most of my fishing will be on rivers, and something that suggests patterns or would be of some use to a fledgling tyer would be handy too. Would anyone be kind enough to recom...

Box or bag?

I would imagine that some use boxes that double as seats and some use rucksacks but there could be other options. Any opin...

I was watching the youfish show the other week ,the topic was fishing of Mornington pier in Melbourne. One of the fisherman was quite inventive, he had some rod holders that looked as though they screwed to the timber planks. Did anyone else watch the show ,I am keen to find out what he actually had...
