Re: Pee in a pitcher and take a dump in a pail.
Peeing off the side is when I catch fish. There's something about being busy with hands full that makes fish want to take the bait...leaving me rushing to get everything back in place so I can grab the fishing rod and reel him in!

Re: Coming aboard from N.W. Alabama
Oh, man. Sorry for your loss. I thought I saw something on Facebook that looked like you had some family not doing too well in Alabama.
Glad you made it back home in one piece.

Potomac Rockfish Fall 2012 Summary
I fished all autumn for stripers on the Potomac River - all the way up until December 31st! I'm still trying to fine tune my spread of 7 poles on planer boards. It seems like it's just "go with it and see what we end up with" each day. This method seemed to work fairly well for me, as I en...

Will be upgrading the software soon as well to limit the spambot registrations. Please keep posting your fishing reports! Let me kno...

Re: What invasive species are in your area?
We have a lot of Snakeheads in the Potomac River these days. I haven't caught one yet, but they're all over the place. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/46/Snakehead_profile.gif Virginia fishing regulations (Potomac River Fisheries Commission (PRFC)) say the following about Snakeheads:...
