Adding a hot tub circuit to existing wiring

Post by allingeneral »

I'm posting this here as an extension to a post elsewhere due to the other forum not allowing attachments.

Please see below for the attachment...

I have a hot tub that I want to add to existing wiring. I recently ran a 100 Amp 240V drop to my garage. I would like to find out what I can do to use this drop to split off a 50A GFCI circuit for the hot tub.

I have a really nice picture that I drew up to help explain my situation, but I guess I can't post images here. So, I have posted the image, along with this post text on my own forum. Please take a moment to look at the image and tell me what you think.
