Hi Everyone, I am trying to figure out where most people are from here. I am from the northwest and do mostly salmon fishing, though do some fly fishing for brown trout as well. Feel free to say hi.
I am currently building up http://www.salmonfishingnow.com to be an informative site for salmon and also do guiding and videos. You can check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mu6DXVagkWU
Have a great new year!

Re: Salmon Fishing
Hi Salmon,
From the New England area, Boston. Here it is mostly stripers and bluefish. There are other fish of course but I really cannot find cod with the range of my small boat.
I do fish for Salmon in Alaska with my dad, He can't travel by himself anymore so poor me I have to go.
Sockeye mostly, with the usual pink and chums thrown in for variety and the ever popular Dolly Varden trout. Can't forget the halibut and ling cod. Fresh water just is not in my book any longer. I only live a half mile from the ocean.

Hey Guys well i think that salmon are anadromous they are born in mineral water, migrate to the ocean, then return to mineral water to reproduce. Thanks!!
