The old maglite D-Cell replacement switches used to be shipped as the switch only with no packaging and no extra items. Now, Maglite has started including a couple of things with the new replacement switches (Switches for Maglites manufactured after 2001):
D Cell Maglite Replacement switches now include the following items:
- Replacement Switch
- Replacement Rubber Switch Seal
- Allen tool for removal/replacement
- Step-by-step instruction sheet
