Sabine Lake Summer Fishing

Post by captrandy »

Sabine Lake Fishing is great! Birds are working north end to mid lake and south end with brown shrimp going to the gulf. I am catching Louisiana limits and speckled trout to 5 lbs. The bite is best on first incoming tide and afternoon tides outgoing. Also, fishing the Louisiana shore line with bigger trout feeding on mullet I am keying on mullet and shrimp, nice fish feeding in 2 ft to4 ft water. The Sabine Pass jetties are holding nice trout and lots of redfish along the rocks. The beach front fishing is great, early morning bite. My best baits are Fishbites 3.5" Xtream Shrimp Stanley side winder/ bayou chub minnows / down south lure/ Terrys sonar B dog spoons./ Fishbites shrimp strips.
Good Fishing
