Fishing Fort Lauderdale on Happy Day Today with Capt. Zsak

“Born to Fish, Forced to Work.” Today six anglers from the eastern coast down in Fort Lauderdale FL on an insurance convention chartered the Happy Day Today along with the Topshotfishing team for a deep sea sport fishing charter Fort Lauderdale FL trip. The 6 avid anglers that have fished up and down the eastern coast and off of Texas, were very knowledgeable in the different techniques used here fishing in Fort Lauderdale FL.

We had two plainers down, one with a 3 ½ blue reflector drone spoon and the other with a pink sea witch with a double hook Bonito strip in front and five surface baits. With winds out of the east southeast at 7-10 mph for the last few days, pushed the blue waters into our drop off, which is 120 ft. deep and 1.8 miles from shore. With lines in the waters, we zigged zagged in and out over the drop off heading towards one of our artificial wrecks north of Fort Lauderdale FL. The 6 anglers alternated catching fish – Kingfish, Bonitos, Amberjacks and Tunas (these were bled to keep the meat perfect) - with a little business talk thrown in and lots of beer drinking.

With time running out, it was time to head back to the dock at Bahia Mar 801 Seabreeze Blvd. Fort Lauderdale 33316. The anglers discussed having some fresh sushi so as soon as the boat hit the dock, one of the anglers went to purchase some wasabi. Waiting for his return was the just caught fresh Tuna filet out and ready to be eaten.
