Howdy from Maine

Post by Canerod »

Hey all, just found this forum. I'm a Registered Maine Guide (fishing, hunting, and recreation) and also a bamboo rodmaker. I specialize in back country flyfishing trips, bowhunting, blackpowder hunting, and wildlife watching canoe trips. Basically, anything outdoors is the key. I'm really looking forward to contributing to the forum.

Hi Kevin. Welcome to the forum. We look forward to hearing more from you.

When you get a chance, I'd like to see a couple of pictures from your expeditions in Maine. I hear there's some beautiful country up there.

Thanks guys! I have some general pics and some rod photos on my website http://www.highcountryguideservice.com . I need to get some new photo's up, but we're off to a slow start this spring. Mixed rain and snow tonight, then rain and wind for four days.

I have six rods on the bench right now, everything from a 4'4" one-piece to a couple of 8' 6wts. I should have them all finished and shipped by late June/ Early July. I'm pretty picky about the cosmetics, so it can't be rushed.
