Went out by kayak tonight throwing topwaters... Using 4# test mono ( Berkley Trilene XL )... landed this potential IGFA Line Class Record... Here are someofthe pics...Off to the biologist and certified scales first thing in the AM... Caught a bunch more in 3 to 6# range too...

4# test? I would be afraid that it would break with every fish that hits! I guess it takes a little bit of finesse to pull in a lunker like that with such small line. Nicely done! Good luck with the record!

At AIG Outdoors, we currently carry the full line of Berkley Trilene Big Game Monofilament Fishing Line.
Four colors are available, Green, Clear, Electric Blue and "Solar Collector".
The smallest weight is 10# test all the way up to 125# test and it comes in 1/4lb, 1lb or 3lb spools (enough to fill every reel you plan to use this spring!)
