Hi, I hope this is the correct area to ask my question.
I have to admit that I'm not a fly angler so forgive me brother anglers but I need some info on the river Gannel in Cornwall and found a couple of posts from this forum. I am a coarse angler but can turn my hand to any type of fishing within reason.
We are staying at the caravan site at Crantock beach for the next two weeks.
I tried to find out if the Gannel is fishable for anything but have failed to get any info.
Is it worth me taking some kit with me when we go and what sort of species would I expect to catch if anything. Tackle, fish and tips please!
Any general info would be fantastic!
thanks

Re: River Gannel Cornwall - fishing help please!
I think you'll find US-based fishermen here, for the most part. Don't think we can be much help with fishing in the UK.
