Coast Guard Safety Inspections

I spoke with a Coast Guard Auxiliary guy at the boat show last weekend, and I'm thinking about arranging for them to come to my marina for a safety inspection day. Anyone have experience with the free CG inspections? Seems like a win-win situation to me, as you not only get to find out if you're deficient in any area while you're still moored (i.e. no ticket/fine), but you also get a nice sticker to place on your boat and point to if you get pulled over for some reason (i.e. possibly no ticket/fine).
What do they look for besides the normal stuff like life jackets, a throwable device, horn, first aid kit, signal flares, etc? I Guess I should have my overboard discharge properly secured as well. What else?
