Galveston Bay Texas

Post by Capt. Alan »

:fishing: Hi everyone at Go Fishing Forum. Capt. Alan here from Galveston TX, hope all of you are doing well! I post in this forum from time to time, just to give a heads up on what's going on over here. Right now it is pretty slow. I spent 10 days at the Houston Boat Show from Jan. 3rd-10th. I did get out on the water a couple of times lately. Two of my trips were real slow, no tide movement and low tides. That combination was deadly for us. We did manage to catch a few trout and reds, but nothing to brag about. My other two trips were a little better. The weather and tides cooperated with us and we caught some nice fish. It was a late bite (1-4pm) The morning bite was slow again. This is typical for us around this time of the year. I tell my customers this before they ever book a trip. Things well only get better, we well be running some spring break trips to our jetties at the end of Feb. This trip are always action packed. I traveled to the Dominican Republic last month and long story short, I had a great time there.! It is beautiful and we went offshore fishing. If you ever make it over there get in contact with Pedro http://www.fishinpuntacana.com he will take care of you. Well just wanted to give an update on what is going on. Until next time, see you on the water.
