Muskegon Fishing Report and Grand Haven Fishing Report

Post by eyemagnet »

Perch fishing in the west end of Muskegon lake is still going strong. Larger Perch are coming from Grand Haven south of the pier heads in Lake Michigan. Walleyes are showing up in good numbers in Muskegon Lake and the lower Grand River. Long line trolling stick baits in Clown are working best.Steelhead fishing is slowing down but good numbers are still being found in the upper Muskegon river on gravel. Indicator fishing small nymphs are the way to go. Green cadis rock worm and hairs ear are worth trying in size 14.

Thanks for the report eyemagnet. Do you have any pictures of your latest outings? Would like to see what you're catching! It's been pretty darned cold up there in Michigan over the last few days, eh? When is Spring going to reach you up there this year? hehe
