South Florida Peacock Bass 7-1-08

South Florida peacock bass fishing is still great this week anyway. How much longer it will last depends if the heavy thunderstorms continue like they have been. Dan Paszynski from Boca Raton, Fl. and I were in Miami on Tuesday and boated 26 peacocks up to 5 1/2 lbs and two over 4 lbs. Any Peacock Bass over 4 lbs. starts to get into the trophy range. Dan caught 3 in one day!

Sweet! Man, I haven't yet decided if those peacock bass are neat looking or scary! :) I hope the fishing stays hot!
