West Virginia Fishing Report for Bass

The bass fishing is just starting to heat up! I've been going to a small backwater area near my house and fishing for bass as winter's cold icy grip is finally starting to break. I have managed to do very well on 3 inch white senkos rigged weightless, texas style. The fish usually tap the bait and most often you have to feel for the weight of the fish, as they won't smash the lures.

Be sure to fish slower than normal and fish a wide variety of baits, experiment and try different things and you will get results, believe me!
