Welcome to the site. My plastic guy is from Iowa. He does real well out there for largemouth. Too bad for me too, cause I think he is getting out of the hand poured business and I'll have to go looking for a new plastic guy.

Yup, nice one. I was throwing a tube a couple years back, in March no less. About 40 degrees. And a big ol' flathead hit it. About 12lbs. It was quite a challenge on the little rod/line I was throwing. http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k71/TriStateFishing/Briancatfish4x4.jpg WAR

Welcome to the site. I wish I could speak to the fishing you are talking about, but despite all the fishing I do, I have never been up your way.

Another good spot to fish in the Tampa area. We fished this area in the evenings. My parents live just South of Madeira Beach in St. Pete Beach. We threw pieces of shrimp on a hook and enjoyed a couple beverages and caught snapper and little stuff almost every cast. It was a blast.

Great fishing all around Ft. DeSoto. We had a blast down there in January wading for Trout. Awesome views of the SkyWay from out on DeSoto.

It's such a good time of year for fishing, it was just too hard for me personally to be off work for a few days, and spend it sitting in the woods. And now we fish about 12hrs. a day. And it's awesome.

Indiana Fishing

We finally have seen some warmer temps this past week. Air temps in the high 60's and water temps. heading back towards 60. Water temps had been in the 60's and fallen back to the low 50's which turned the fishing off almost completely. But happy days are here again. Bluegills and crappie have been ...
